Well I felt I should write something rather than keep everyone waiting till we all got up! Besides - I might have forgotten order of things if I'd slept first!!

I forgot to say Bliss - it was lovely to meet you!
Mana - I think I saw you but you were meeting other people and didn't get chance to say hi to me!

Rest of Fest
I was running a bit late through not sorting my stuff out the night before as I should of. When I got to London Bridge station I started seeing lots of Booshy people. The train I got on was packed with Booshy types and strangely, the girl who sat next to me on train was also on same coach as me in eve - sat just across aisle!! Anyway - when we got to Paddock Wood there were signs everywhere directing people to the Boosh shuttle. In the queue were some people in great costumes - an old gregg was particularly good.

The bus dropped everyone near the queue to get in where I found why1. Just as we got into the fest I spotted Sticks near the Nabootique at the gates. She directed us to the Dollybirds who had set up camp by the Bouncy Castle. We went to say hi before I realised that the sun was so hot that I required a hat urgently. We checked out a couple of the stalls and I eventually decided that the look I required was a flat cap (don't ask! I hadn't even been drinking) which I bought, wore throughout the day & have now become rather fond of it!!

We sat with the Dollybirds for a while, with me muttering about the unfairness that only under 12's could use the buncy castle. They played twister for a bit - I span the dial for them. Eleanor came on to indroduce bands which got our attention. I quite liked Polar Bear as they were quite strange. RID were good, I'd not seen them live. Once they'd finished loads of Forumers and Modwolves flooded the area. Much hugging ensued and chatting. Some of the Dollybirds pelted each other with satsumas.

A bit later I realised it was almost time for Matt Berry's stint in the Velvet Onion. Me and Denton headed over there and joined the queue to get in. The place was packed (seems they hadn't realised how many comedy fans there might be!!). We ended up stood near the back of the crowd outside the tent while David O'Doherty finished his set. He was good although some people nearby seemed baffled. When the compare came on there was some rearrangement in audience and we managed to get a bit of grass to sit on a little nearer. Berry was great - he did some rude/wrong poetry before singing One Track Lover and Snuff Box!! He only got 10mins though so he had to go, much to the dismay of audience.
We left the Velvet Onion then so I could get money and buy merch!! The t-shirts were all great, as was the hoodie top. In the end I got a Nabootique canvas bag, a black festival t-shirt, a black electro t-shirt and some black eels pants!! Nice!! While we were by that Nabootique we saw Jarvis Cocker and his kids - one also in a small jacket, a mini Jarvis (how he wasn't baking in his tweed I don't know).
Not far from Nabootique was a fab shop which sold luminous tutus and tweed jackets!! Only at a Boosh Fest would that be a marketable combo!!
We wandered back to the Dollies again, passing the old men on sofa with shed! I decided to forgo the rest of the comedians as it was difficult to hear in the Velevet Onion and so packed. I figured I'd rather see the bands as I could see the comedians back in London or at Edinburgh, the bands would be more difficult.
I danced to Newman's cars - he was fantastic.
Not long after that a small group of us decided it was time to start heading down to front - if that was where we wanted to end up. We wandered through crowds and got quite a good distance to front left for Charlatans - meeting a new Modwolve in process. They were good although I only recognised a few of the songs.
When they finished we weedled our way a bit further forward so we had a good view for Har Mar Superstar - which turned out to be a bad plan!! I have seen more of that man than was good for my mental health! A girl in front asked if my giggles of amusement when he came on was me taking offence at his stomach! I said no and tried to explain but she was too drunk to register that it was the fact he looked like an 80's throwback and reminded me of someone.
He was great - don't get me wrong, but I had no desire to see him strip to his rather small grey sweaty pants, which he then danced about in!! As he was on there were great shrieks from audience as Noel was spotted peeking round stage curtain, big cheeky grin on his face!!
After Har Mar left the stage we got Peaches on for her dj set - and that was where my earlier post started from!!

It was such a amazing day! They better do another one!!

Oh - coach ride back was mad. I was roped into helping with a Rock, Paper, Scissors game that lasted most of journey. Chatted to a guy who was impressed at patch and badges, then quizzed me on Boosh to see if I deserved to be a Mod! Also talked comedy and tried to convice him to look up FDA and Androgynoel!! At Paddington it was a mad sight as loads of people - all dressed up, mingled and waited for night buses and cabs!! I headed off and 2 night buses later was home!

I'll upload my pics soon!

Ok - quick write-up of festival - well the boosh bit! I'll do it properly once I've had some sleep. Pics will also follow but they aren't the quality or number as for cargo gigs as camera was having issues!!

For moment though - Festival was amazing. Eleanor introduced all of the bands and looked stunning in pink leggings, short lycra skirt etc!

The Boosh were fantastic!! Absolutely great!!!
Similar set list to cargo gigs but not exactly!!
I'm gonna say Vince & Howard rather than Noel & Julian as they are still in character for the gigs and to avoid confusion!!
The graphics and cartoons that played out behind them throughout were immense but too many to describe properly!!

Peaches did a dj set that ended with her serenade to boosh with Hopelessly Devoted to You - which audience all joined in with.
Then the moon was on - it appeared a few times throughout!!

Vince came on in future sailors outfit in a large pirate ship with a booshy skull and crossbones!! Howard was in a small inflatable dingy behind!!!
They did future sailors and electroboy with Joey Moose and band. Rich's future robot costume was fab - it was skintight silver with large groinal features (I think that's the safest way to describe it!!) and phallic headress!!
Then it was I Did A Shit and I Did A Skat - with Howard excelling himself on guitar!! Lester Corncrake came on and played trombone - sliding it too far so it came apart and he just had to wave it about!
Then as Howard talked to audience, Old Gregg crept up behind him and covered his eyes, trying to make him guess who!! Howard got it totally wrong!!
Gregg introduced him to the Funk and to his new boyfriend - Captain something (I can never remember his name!). On the suggestion from Gregg that Howard should suck some of the funk's juice from his teats, the Funk whipped open his shirt to reveal a chest of them and sprayed juice from one all over Howard's face. He then proceeded to spray the audience!! Howard got all funky - pulling some great faces. They did Mangina and Mutants - with a group of mutants appearing from off stage (their additional dancers throughout appeared to be Dee, Sue, Peaches and when he wasn't Naboo - Mike). Gregg gave some people in audience a couple of his watercolours - lucky people!!
After mutants, Gregg was asking the Funk what he was doing later and realised it wasn't the funk but an imposter - cue Bob Fossil revealing himself under the funk costume and doing hid rap. Part way through he chucked Dave off stage and brought on Har Mar Superstar also in blue Fossil suit as his brother. He does look scarily as if they are related. Har Mar Superstar had been on earlier in evening and we saw more of him than was strictly necessary!!
Anyway - Har Mar and Fossil got into a dance off and showed some fab moves before grumbling over who was better at rapping. Har Mar finally went to play congas (is that what those drums are called?) before leaving Fossil to sing on his own.
Then Howard said Naboo was to come on but Vince brought a note saying he'd fallen into an ostrich pit earlier and so was dead. They sang Naboolio in tribute but when Bollo came and did his rap, Vince muttered about it being wrong! Peaches burst onto stage saying it was wrong and showed him how it should be done. When she finished they thanked her but Vince pointed out he meant wrong as in innappropriate because Naboo was dead. Around now Naboo came on riding an ostrich saying they'd got on when they'd shared a spliff!
They carried on with Naboolio with the addition of Soup crimp and Bouncy Bouncy!! Soooo cool to all be bouncing - the guys looked like they were really enjoying themselves!!
They went off and then Rudi came on to do New Sound and Isolation - telling everyone he had many names, giving a few but saying we could call him Rudi!! At end - Mike came on dressed as cactus to be told he was too late. Some lovely gurning and riffs from Rudi!!
The Hitcher then leapt onto stage, with piper twins quickly following. After a bit of banter Rudi and the Hitcher decide on a truce to end of song - using music to patch up differences at least briefly!! They sang Eels!! The girls came on to dance again - this time in skin tight black catsuits with hitcher style markings on them. They formed a conga line for a bit with the piper twins and hitcher joining in. Then a giant green eel came onto stage which Hitcher climbed on and stood atop. At end of song he leapt down but it moved and he hit stage a little harder I think than he intended. He did usual lie on floor before being helped off.
After much cheering Rich came back on as Bingo caller from Nanageddon. He threw inflatable balls with numbers on into audience as he called them. Unfortunately his trousers kept falling down which confused matters. When he got to 666 the boys all came on dressed as Nanas while flames roared from front of stage. Noel's dress was less frumpy than the cargo gig - sort of summer dress with flowers on I think - kinda suited him really! Mike had a zimmer. They did Nanageddon while swinging handbags. Noel's ended up in audience in end.
Then they went straight into Charlie - the girls dressed now in skintight pink catsuits. As they sang Charlie came on - the one from the tv show. Then there were fireworks and at front of stage they had streamers exploding everywhere!! The boys got to end of song and thanked everyone for coming, then ran off to mass cheering.
The moon did a final turn, eventually telling everyone to go home but pointing out the last train had already gone and that they had to get coach, or 4 could go with Tim from Charletans in his car or maybe on donkey of one of other groups.
The audience kept up hopeful cheers of encouragement and encores for a bit but after a while gave up when stage started to be struck.

So - I think that was all the important stuff for moment and I think it's in right order - apols if I've missed anything or got anything confused - I've not slept yet - that is next plan!! I'll add more later when I've had a nap!!

I'd like to say I met some lovely forumers and Modwolves at Fest - it was great to see you!! The Dollybirds - a joy as always!! Why1 - well it was great to see you again, thanks for share of rug!! Denton - great to meet you at last - thanks for keeping me company at Berry and while spending money on merchandise!! Features - lovely to meet you too - I wish it could've been before the coach queue as I'd have introduced you to some nice Modwolves. Ma - well - when isn't it a pleasure to spend time being manhandled by you!! Midge - lovely to see you again too - sorry I didn't get to say bye!!

Oh - and anyone else I met - it was great - sorry I've forgotten names momentarily - as I said I've not yet slept!!

On which note - bed is calling quite forcefully! I'll be on later with pics although I'm sure others will have better ones than me this time! And I'll write something about the rest of the Festival too - just thought I should get something on here about boys asap!! Soooooo fab!!! Need them to do another one now!!!!!

It was a fantastic day. I got there just before 12. the queue was massive! It took ages to get in. The people in front of me were sitting on the floor having a picnic! When i finally got in i was annoyed that they actually took the ticket :( I like to keep my tickets. grr. Anyway i bought a festival t shirt and headed over to the Velvet Onion. The Mc Greg Fleet was good. Milton Jones was really funny. I liked him. Simon Munnery was fantastic. I then headed over to get some chips before RID. I realised that they were about to come on so i threw my chips in my bag ( i'm still finding chips in my bag now!) and ran to the monkey hell stage. It was the first time i had seen them live and i loved them ;D. The security were having panic attacks when Dee jumped out to the audience. They were cut short because of time, they had two more songs to play. Still i got to see them ;D

We met by the bouncy castle after RID. It was my first Modwolves meet and i was scared! I'm a shy person anyway. Everyone seemed to know each other really well. I need to go to a few more meets to get rid of my shyness.

The day is pretty much as IBB described it. When Gary Numan sang cars i danced like crazy and ended up wacking the person next to me! Frankie Boyle was very funny, not for the easily offended though! Garth Marenghi was fantastic. He did a reading from his "new book". When he mentioned it was set in Maidstone i did a little cheer. No one else did! :-[

IBB-It was great to meet you too and talk about all thing Boosh and Berry
Why1-Great to meet you
Bliss- Great to meet you. Hope you had a pleasant journey home
Dollybirds-Great to see you guys in action. When you posed for photos i took one. Hope you don't mind. I will look out for you guys in the local paper and post it on here.

Oh almost forgot me and IBB saw Jarvis Cocker and a small boy with him standing in line at the merchandise stall!

Photos are on my myspace and facebook. :)
